Jacksonville is? I know 2 dudes from Jacksonville that would both want to fight me if I suggested they were from Alabama.

North of I-10 in the panhandle from Tallahasse East to Jacksonville is basically Georgia.

Really could care less about this but the fact is Mark Herndon never played on any of Alabama's studio albums. He was in fact just a hired hand to play on the road.

His picture is on the album covers and merchandise. His likeness is included on the County Music Hall of Fame plaque. He even has a statue along with the three other band members in Owens' hometown. I know band breakups can result in hard feelings, but it's ridiculous for Owens to claim he was never a part of the group.

I’m guessing Ice Cube never used an AK?

That wouldn't be a lie though, didn't he say "today I didn't even have to use my AK"? The lie would be he actually did use it that day

They say that you have to fight for your right to party. There's no lie there.

There is no stairway to heaven

Hank never had a friend in New York City

Michael Jackson surely did not love Billie Jean (unless Billie was 10yo)

One of few truths, Garth had friends in low places (still does)

John Mellencamp may have been born in a small town, but he has never lived in a pink house.

Exactly. I never even knew of all the BS until a while back going through old memories and catching up on the band. Never listened to them after about Roll On, but used to listen to earlier albums beginning to end and can still sing along with most songs especially Mountain Music and Closer You Get.

As a country kid I thought Herndon was hippy freak but grown up me thinks he was cool.

Neither David Allen Coe’s mom nor Steve Goodman’s mom got runned over by a damned old train.

And while he may have turned 21 in prison, he wasn't doing life without parole.

But he was inspired by Cash when Johnny did a show at San Quentin.

There are 3.

I said, "This'll only hurt for a little while
I'll only put the head of it in
I promise that I'll never try to cum in your mouth."
