He criticized “misleading and conspiratorial rhetoric” about the shots at the House committee hearing.

It's time to hold your state legislature accountable. It's the only power we currently have over this Governor. Mail them, call them, email them, show up to their offices. Do whatever is necessary to let them know if they fail to pull his emergency powers then you will do everything in your power to help vote them out.

As expected, the Democratic governor sent a letter to the House Health and Welfare Committee, notifying them that he will override their 13-2 bipartisan vote against the plan and enact it against their wishes.

And my healthy kid that goes to public school that we pay taxes for will continue to go to school without a vaccine that he doesn’t need.

This stupid motherfricker compared it polio and measles.

quote:

"One can only imagine where we would be as a state if the same overheated rhetoric from last week’s meeting was applied to polio or measles," Edwards, a Democrat, wrote in his letter. "The development of the COVID-19 vaccines in time to help us put this pandemic behind us also requires us to do everything we can to add COVID-19 to the list of diseases that no longer pose a serious threat.”

Disclaimer: I did not actually hear what Edwards said on this, so just going with what has been stated here. That being said, are you serious? There are other required immunizations for school, and you have always been able to opt out of those. This one SHOULD be no different if they are going to require it. Now, I completely and vehemently disagree with making the COVID vaccine a requirement for children when it's not even a threat for over 99% of them. It's not like polio or any of the other diseases we vaccinate against that were actually pretty bad for children. This is an abuse of power and overreach, but it's what we've come to expect from politicians like Edwards.

Because this injection harms and kills more people than it saves! And it’s NOT a vaccine.

I say this all the time on here, people Bitch and moan and don’t even realize it’s their “Republican” representative who’s not stepping up to the plate. Do the people in Clay Schnexnayders district realize what a shitty job he has done and that he’s basically rolled over for JBE?

The fact that the government numbers said that 60+ 5-11 year olds killed them selves in the last year was unbelievable to me, but in today’s world I can actually believe it. My youngest is 8 and I can honestly say I didn’t even grasp what that meant at 8 years old in 1988.

A man that lives in our neighborhood actually had polio as child and he scoots around in one of those electric powered wheelchairs because it took his ability to walk, COVID-19 never posed that threat to our children, if it did the last 2 years would’ve have been dramatically different and I would have given a few more fricks.

I'm to the point now, that I'm so pissed I'm going to vote against every incumbent that I can. They don't listen to threats from voters, time for action at the booth.

Thats been clear for quite a while. Doesnt matter, my kids arent getting the shot. They can be homeschooled until this shithead is gone. Or hell, maybe ita getting to that time to put LA in my rear view mirror and go somewhere where governors cant be unstoppable tyrants. Hell even some uberliberal blue states havent and wont go as far as this tyrant just did.
