If Joe doesn't go to X, the time is ripe for creating some sort of new comedy platform. All these comics are sick of getting censored, and there is probably a lot of demand for raw comedy content that isn't censored. Joe's comedy club is a physical oasis for comics to come and have free reign to do whatever comedy they want. Why not do the same thing, but in a digital sense? We live in a comedy desert right now, outside of stand up comedy. He should create a platform for comedians to create and release whatever they want. Whether it be podcasts, sitcoms, sketch shows, movies, etc?

If he doesn't get off the HGH he won't be around long enough for it to matter.

Edit: didn't think about the free speech issues on there. I guess X?

I hope he doesn't go to "X", but I can see that being the most obvious next step.

Wherever he ends up, I hope he gives up on the "edgy" political shite. His show gained success by talking about weird stuff, interacting with interesting people, and operated in almost a 'stoner' manner.

I enjoy his show but talk more about aliens or weird shite in rainforests...if I want to listen to political talk there are a million and one different podcasts to listen to.

Very interesting idea. Getting advertisers will be hard because it'll be easy for the own nothing and eat bugs people to label the new site as a far-right hate speech platform, where as Twitter/X is a catch-all that has everything so it's hard for the label to stick.

If they get enough subscribers, the advertisers will come. Other media and talking heads stomped and shouted about Rogan's podcast since he's been on Spotify and he's still got plenty of advertisers.

After he had Demi Lovato on I knew Spotify had a little say in his show. You could tell it was to fix her image and he wasn't into it. Not a big deal but it was pretty clear

He also talked about his daughter getting cream pied. Totally normal, totally healthy.

The fact that Rogan, who is pretty left thinking, is calling out what’s going on is entertaining as hell. You just don’t like it’s being called out
