This is the dumbest retort when someone brings up that they doubt someone came back to life.

The common person knows enough about the processes of life and death to know that people cannot come back to life.

The common person does not know enough about quantum gravity to equate it to a person doing something we literally know is impossible.

I don't know if either one occurred, but to equate the two is nonsense.

I think it’s a catch 22 for a lot of folks when the subject of God doing miraculous/impossible things comes up. On the one hand, if God only did things that were plausible, possible or otherwise scientifically explainable, the response could easily be that God has never done anything that couldn’t simply be a natural occurrence. On the other hand, if God does something miraculous or impossible by natural means, the response could simply be unbelief that something unbelievable occurred.

In either case, the root of the issue is unbelief.

A lot of people spend their life running from the Lord without realizing it. When you stop and listen to his word, everything gets a whole lot better.

what does this mean

The cool thing right now is to be “spiritually agnostic”, you can feel like you’re acknowledging God and you can justify that nagging feeling in your gut when you’re doing wrong because “hey, I acknowledged God, and I heard once if you acknowledge him you’re saved so I can be free to do whatever I want”. It’s discussed often in the Bible both in the old testament and by Jesus himself.

Lukewarm Christianity is a brutal sin. Because you have acknowledged that there is something above you and you have acknowledged that you feel that tugging on your soul, but you are too egotistical or afraid to give up your power to Him, so you choose to snuff out the light in favor of comfortable darkness.

“Did God really say that”
“If he loves me why don’t I get to do whatever I want”
“what would really happen if I sinned just a little”
“He forgives everyone right, so I can just ask forgiveness later”.

All brilliant tactics by the great deceiver Satan from the first Human to the last.

One good quality that he has though is that he’s very open-minded and likes to analyze topics from all perspectives.

Generally true, but he does not apply that as much in this recent closer alignment with right-wing portions of his audience. And very close alignnent with Elon Musk and the Great.
I've lost some respect for him because of that. All partisan biases aside, Sam Harris has addressed some legitimate issues with Elon on a character level.

The Trouble with Elon

On the religion angle with Rogan, he has always been clear that he is not religious. I know he said that clearly in the podcast with Woody Harrelson. But he talks to enough christians or quasichristians (e.g., Jordan Peterson), that it has resulted in this game that OP is playing where people make links with Rogan and christianity as some kind of hopeful flirtation or something. But it's really nothing more than "openness" and that Rogan tends to stay quiet or say something vaguely supportive oftentimes when he talks to christians and Peterson, who he holds in undeserved high regard.
Part of what's going on here is that the open-mindedness you mentioned gets misread by some. He's a relatively open and diverse person, so he's able to relate to a wide variety of different people and find common ground. Does he hold back criticism and distancing himself because he's aware of this conservative flirtation dynamic? And because much of his newer audience is conservative and religious? Similar to the way he isn't really critical of Elon and the Great, I think that's true to some degree. I prefer the Rogan we got in the Woody Harrelson podcast, but that's just me.
There were a number of people who made solid response videos to Huff's boring episode. It would have been a good gesture openness and balance to give one of those people an episode.

Every doubt or objection you’ve ever had to the Bible he can show you 15 facts to back it up. He did Rogan show, next thing you know Joe goes to church.

Is he able to show us that a guy named Noah indeed build an ark in which he put two of every animal (male and female) on without any of the animals attacking other animals because those animals are usually that animal's food source?

And that if he did put two of every animal on his ark, how did he get animals that were not native to the area? Alligators for example. Did Noah have access to Alligators?

It's actually a pretty good retort. For the universe to begin the impossible had to happen

God has been after Joe for a while. Several guests have discussed their Christianity with him over the last couple years. He has proclaimed many times that those who are some of the best and happiest around him are Christians. The Wes Huff podcast was profound to Joe if you watched and listened. Discussing the handwritten proof and consistent eyewitness accounts, the papyri and the languages…He was fascinated and Wes did a great job.

Doubtful but not impossible.

Most likely he’s a seeking the truth. If you’ve listened to any of his pods with Mel Gibson, the dude who plays Jesus in the Chosen, or the dude who played Jesus in the Passion you can hear him seeking. Add to that the pod regarding the Shroud of Turin and Rogan strikes me as the guy who will keep seeking the truth.

I know of a bunch of non-denominational churches that literally have everything they believe even if it’s controversial posted on their website.
yea in the fine print on their website you can dig up exactly what ‘denomination’ they are usually funded by and what age old belief system they follow…. But in their billboard they will make sure to not claim their actual denomination, like they are scared to admit they closely adhere to some prophetic pentacostalism or whatever.

Like I said it’s bullshite smoke and mirrors went get throw up the ‘non-denominational’ sign
