That's the point of the show. You cant censor someone's conversation or thoughts on a subject.
I was a J.Petersen fan, but after hearing him talk about climate not existing, it makes me question everything else he speaks about. As a matter of fact I paused the pod there and still haven't got back to it. I wouldn't feel that way about him now if Joe would have told him not to say what he did

It's his other shite that is bothersome. Like allowing Jordan Peterson to say climate doesn't exist. Or allowing Jimmy Corsetti to openly question how geologists can get accurate dates for rocks.
That's where he really strays from science and he does it in the dumbest f-ing ways.
My question for you is, when did Joe Rogan become your source for science? The "alternate history" and ancient aliens types have been around for decades and decades. Art Bell was having these kinds of people on Coast to Coast AM 20-30 years ago. George Noory still has all kinds of cooks on. Why is Joe Rogan being targeted? I'm not a huge fan of his (or any podcast really) because I don't like the "So, um, and ah..." format, but he doesn't advocate for anything controversial, he just lets people talk. Leftists didn't complain when he gave Bernie Sanders his most unfettered and open platform during the 2020 campaign.

That's the point of free speech that authoritarians never understand. Exposure to different viewpoints doesn't automatically make us into followers of the person speaking. In fact, more often than not, it will make us think more critically about the speaker.

I don't always get it right,
Rogan's always been a douche. You think with the TRT and insulin the dude would have enough T not to fold into a pair of labia like Drew Brees.
Rogan shouldn't have to apologize for anything. He did nothing wrong and he's not even pushing anything other than lions mane. The fact that he caved in like a little bitch is pathetic.

Did you watch the video? This wasn't an apology or him caving at all. Yes he technically said "I'm sorry if i pissed you off" at the end, buts thats completely different from "Im sorry for what i did." It was more of a "sorry not sorry."
He said he's going to continue what he's doing.

This has nothing to do with Joe Rogan and everything to do with the cult of the left stifling any speech they don’t agree with.
Coming from the side that has increased library book bannings by 300% in the past two years.

No he didn’t he baited them to produce anyone to come on his show to counter his guests. Won’t happen because they will get destroyed in a long form conversation.

Did you really not listen to the whole point he was making about the climate? I don’t think he was saying anything absolutely insane such as the climate does not exist.

What does this have to do with Joe Rogan?
Or were you just dying to inject some whataboutism into the subject while you scream at the sky?
I bet you're a reeeeal fun person to be around

Some of y'all need to watch the video.
He isn't caving. The OP makes it sound like he is but he isn't.

Great video. Handled it as well as it could be handled. He does acknowledge there is a narrative. The left controls the narrative and by their rules, it you’re not with them you’re against them. Should be interesting how this plays out over time.

Maybe you should watch Ira Glasser's segment on Bill Maher to see what the state of free speech looks like on the political left. The guy was the former head of the ACLU and has some sobering realizations for the organization and liberalism as a whole.
Look in the fricking mirror man. Campus speech codes are prevalent on almost every collegiate institution in this country. How many college leftists rioted to prevent Ben Shapiro from speaking? Social media companies are run by leftists and are doing more to shrink the marketplace of ideas than any other entity. The folks who want to ban "hate speech" and "misinformation" exist almost exclusively on the left.
And it isn't just conservatives. Folks like Glenn Greenwald, Matt Taibbi, Bari Weiss, Krystal Ball, Sagaar Enjeti, Jimmy Dore and Aaron Mate see it. Journalists used to be fringe/countercultural figures. They were the 4th estate because they were adversarial to the political establishment. Now most pundits you see on mainstream left-leaning news channels are former security state or intelligence officials parroting the establishment orthodoxies. The people who pretended to rage against the machine have now become the machine and you've bought it hook, line and sinker.

For a man who got "frick you" money from Fear Factor, there's no real excuse.
I bet he's regretting signing that Spotify contract right about now.
