lol, you think the “we have to do something” crowd is going to have the same attitude? (serious doubt)

Well yea. It's like compromising with the irrational wife. Give em a little and pet them on the head.

Make no mistake, I want you to own every frickin gun you want. Big arse machine guns and suppressors and all.
I would like to have an UZI just for nostalgia.

This attitude now keeps you from having the below without paying a shite ton of fees, endless paperwork, and being on a federal list:

I don't doubt that he does. But this is a topic that a football player shouldn't take on. If you do then expect criticism and scrutiny. If I was him, I would say no comment and move on.

Exactly, but I also think teenagers are idiots and its not the worst idea to change the age to buy an AR15 to 21.

I wish him the best of luck on the field and will continue to pull for him. But the guy has been infected with liberal ideals, like a lot of young people, and one day when he matures he will realize the error of his ways.

I thought the idea was to throw the ball, score points and win games, I don’t see what a player’s political ideology has to do with supporting him as a player?

They tried to get Brady last year for supporting Trump years before. USA Today did a hit piece on Brady. Those MFers are terrible. Brady needs to mentor Burrow on this shite.

USA Today Douchebag hit piece on Brady

Joe is an excellent QB, and I’m happy he was a tiger, be he has no clue about what he’s preaching about. Someone needs to teach him that criminals don’t play by the same rules. Gun control will not prevent murder.

Sorry, but any one of those disqualifies you from gun ownership, let alone the whole group. We are also now going to be requiring a full psych eval, before you can vote or drive or access the Internet again"

I said I still support the guy and his play on the field.

What more do you want?

Don’t try to make this into something it isn’t to satisfy your agenda.

He’s a great quarterback who, like most young people, is misguided, in my opinion.

If you believe otherwise, then more power to your free speech.

Then I’m sure you’re ok with changing the voting age to 21, as well as the selective service age. Right? Can’t have it one way without the other

I love Joe, but why in the hell can't athletes just stick to entertainment and sports???

People who work at factories can have an opinion. People who work on farms can have opinions. Why can’t football players or basketball players?

I get it…. Sports are an escape. But when he’s asked a question he can have an opinion. Or if he feels strongly about something he can have an opinion.

That being said, I think his misinformed And I don’t necessarily agree with his views. But I think that he is a good person and I sure do love the guy and glad he represents LSU.

So, you're ok with raising the voting age to 21?

My opinion begs two simple questions: Why didn't the masses go all out to protect an 18 yr old's right to purchase a lottery ticket and can of Copenhagen?

Probably because there is nothing in the constitution about lottery tickets and Copenhagen.

As a non-gun owner, I am pro second amendment simply because all amendments should be protected. If you don’t like the amendment, the founders left the rules to amend it.

I also don’t like the picking and choosing what 18 year olds can do. Vote, yes. Draft, yes. Drink, no. Own a gun, no. Get tried as an adult, yes. The age of majority needs to be the age of majority for all of these. Make it either 18 or 21, but pick one.

Can't trust 18 year olds with guns, but trust them to fight wars and vote.

Insanity.

I just wish that he, like our president, if they were going to speak on the subject, they should have some knowledge of the subject.
