So, it’s been a while, but I want to say that in the books, Dumbledore waxes poetic enough about his affection for another male wizard that him being gay was a relatively popular fan theory that she ended up confirming, much to the shock and chagrin of those who had only seen the movies (which didn’t spend much time on nuanced character development). But it’s blurry in my head at this point.
