FYI all of that meat from these hunts goes to feeding local villages and starving people.

so they say. Cecil's meat sure wasn't going to feed anybody but the local scavenging animals. I'd reckon the "hunts" end this way more often than these brave "sportsmen" would have you believe - with an abandoned carcass and the head safely stowed about South African Airlines.

It sucks that an animal like a lion is hunted and killed, especially under these circumstances, but am I the only one that really doesn't care about this story?

With everything else going to shite in Africa, this is the story that has late night hosts crying on national TV? Give me a break

Speculation that you will never even attempt to prove. Good stuff.

No, but like those of us who hold the same position, the SJWs in this thread will say that you are uncaring.

If parroting the pro-hunting talking points and taking it on blind faith that the regulations are routinely followed on a continent with as much corruption as Africa is "knowledge" than sure - SFP is an expert on this topic.

You have nothing but petty insults to go against all the info he provides. But yea, just roll your eyes. It's all you've got.

see ya - I'm glad that 80% of the world (and growing - it will be 95% in 20 years) agrees with me.

I don't get it.

1) Comedy shows need to concentrate on comedy and stop being so sanctimonious.

2) It's an animal you've never seen or heard of before, in a foreign county. He needs to grow a pair.

a country full of human rights violations, a corrupt government, and all other sorts of issues

And a fricking lion being killed is now the reason people are crying on TV and trying to ruin some dentist life

Easy to agree from behind a desk. Behind a computer. Easy to be an "activist" or "outraged".

In the real world...it doesn't work like that.

Of all the problems in Africa, this is a sticking point for Kimmel.

This whole rigamarole with the lion really struck a cord with a certain type of peraon. I don't get it personally. I feel a little bad for all parties involved. That's about all the GAF I've got for this one.

Yup. No human no care.

Meh I'm bored of this - besides you're easily accumulated the most downvotes in these two treads, mate

Yea, because downvotes mean something

And I believe you're looking for the other thread. That isn't true in this one. Not surprised you can't get things straight though.

ETA: What kind of pussy edits out mistakes? Way to be a man about it. And for the record, as of this second I have 4 total upvotes compared to 1 total downvotes in this thread. Thanks for the great lesson though.

Don't watch. I can't stand Bruce Jenner or any of the Kardashian's so I don't watch them.

you do realize that there are international regulations as well as state and federal regs here in the US, right?

Exactly how I feel. I think the guy who hunted the lion is a scumbag, but compared to a lot of the scumbags in Africa, this is simply pointless in the grand scheme of things that we should actually give a shite about on that continent. It's a fricking lion that has no effect on me and basically all of humanity.
