this was a highly regulated hunt and the guides/american had a permit to hunt lions in that area

either a mistake was made or the group went outside of their permits intentionally and they shot a collared lion, which is illegal. we don't know which happened and which members of the group were aware right now because we don't know all the facts. nobody should make a judgment until all the facts are out.

either way, they tried to cover it up, which is inexcusable.

It's like the people that hunt fenced in deer. Just seems pointless other than to say you killed something really big.

There's a ranch here that you can literally look at the buck you want to shoot beforehand and pay for it all upfront then they take you to stand and parade the deer in front of you so you can shoot it. This seems to be on that level and is pretty pointless to me but to each their own I guess.
