I thought he was worried about rising sea levels. Won’t Miami be underwater next year?

He is a liberal? I always thought he was in the middle with more right leanings. He is a billionaire capitalist after all.
He owns the Washington Post...

And that's how you do that. The perfect environment.

He is a billionaire, I’m sure he owns a lot of things. I just never heard him really do anything political other than criticize Biden over economy a while back.

It's interesting Bezos statement makes no mention that by getting out of high income tax Seattle (2.5%)/Washington (7%) along with Washington's additional tax on investment income and moving to a state with no income taxes, he's going to save almost a half-billion dollars a year in taxes.
I wonder why he left that part out?

all that money can't buy taste, I'd take Seattle(not the city proper,) over Miami every day of the week

He's fairly involved with the Washington Compost
He's gone on record a few times as saying they need to do more to actually make money...
But its one of the most biased rags on the planet and hasn't changed

Possibly the best PR photo ever taken of a billionaire.
Hope that PR exec got an amazing bonus based off the traction that photo has gotten him.

A college student who worked summers here was one of Amazons first emplyees. She worked summers here, for Amazon in winter while she went to school.
Just books at the time, she left when they expanded their wares. I bet she regrets that.

Posted on 11/3/23 at 9:20 am to tiggerthetooth
What position does he play?
Also is he a football guy or a soccer guy? I know Seattle doesn't have an NBA team
