I'm sure you will UNTIL a yellow jacket, bald face hornet, or guinea wasp gets blown up your shorts and onto your balls.

Doors off, top down on a Jeep and just running about on a nice day is fine in the proper setting and is actually really enjoyable. No hate here.
On the interstate…it’s a nightmare. Even a soft top fully enclosed is miserable on the interstate. I did it once and can still hear it.
Owning a Jeep will eventually become rather regrettable overall for most people. The few enjoyable moments pale in comparison to the fact it is a shite product over time and doesn’t meet the daily needs of daily vehicle very well.
It’s a fun second vehicle at its best. If you feel the need to do it, lease it for a couple years and turn it back in when you got your fill.

People should read about what doctors face when they have to deal with women putting their feet up on the dash and hands and arms hanging out the window/doors.
It generally doesn't end well for the limb.

Why does a person taking off the jeep doors upset people?

Because everyone has experienced being stopped next to these people at a red light…and the majority of the time these jeep people fit a certain stereotype perfectly. Of course, it’s not a stereotype if it’s always true.

My wife's jeep is great. Solid, simple vehicle. Reminds me of the 4runner my dad had in the 90's.
If I ever bought a jeep again, it would be a CJ or XJ as a second vehicle.

Ive had my Jeep for 28 years. Doors are rarely on, top goes up and down depending on weather. Its just a great open air experience especially if you're mildly claustrophobic. I rented a Camaro once and almost had to trade it back in, lol. Like being shoved in a hole.
I would have the windshield down if I could, but the wind compressed over the hood at 45 mph will rip your face off.
I'll drive 8 hours on the Interstate doors off top down without thinking twice. Hell, the ole gal that used to run the Cajun Jeep Jamboree would drive her CJ7 all the way to the Rubicon once a year. That is a Jeeper right there. Furthest Ive gone is Katemcy, Tx.
What was the question again?

Why are you doing it at all? Like, what's the point of that?

I take the top off of mine when I can. I rarely take the doors off because it's a pain and not much benefit to me. I loathe the ducks.

I have a 25year old Jeep.
The reason I have the doors off is because I have no idea where they are.

We never have taken the doors off our wrangler, but honestly it does look like fun.

lol. Nope. I don’t drive on interstate with doors off if I can help it. It’s not pleasurable. Too much wind too many morons. But if I need to jump on from Jefferson to Millerville, I’ll do it. Cautiously. No foot hanging out.
And that's the point. You actually don't NEED to. There is no circumstance to NEED to take your door off.
Just buy a motorcycle.

Driving around making tiktok videos for attention is 10x worse then driving around in a Jeep minding your own business.
