I'm assuming that they want you to get a flu shot with 25/50% effectiveness so that you either won't get the flu OR it'll be mild and not land you in the hospital. Just assuming but idk.

This means COVID deaths won't stop until everyone that has tested positive at some point is dead, even if that takes 80 years.

I was in Target today, sans mask (I did hold it to my face to get past the lady at the door). Someone said "oh hey XXXXXX" and I was like who the F are you? She said her name and I said OH HEY!! I mean with a mask you can't tell who anyone is.
Now, she's 30 ... she's FREAKED OUT about covid. She had her mask on and I KNOW that me not having one flipped her out. She'll tell her momma (my friend) and I don't give a shite. She doesn't want her mom or dad going places and doing things that they enjoy.
I'm like wtf? I told my friend that she could die today in an accident and then she'd have lived in her home because her daughter asked her and died anyway.
If it was my kid, my answer would be "baby I love you BUT I will not live in fear and I will do my thing ... I appreciate your concern".
Come on man ... we've got lives to live.
