This is a big one. Will JBE move towards Phase 3? Would not be a good sign for schools and high school sports if he keeps us in phase 2.It is time for Phase 3!!

You asked this in the other thread I think and were laughed at repeatedly.
We will not be going to Phase 3. JBE basically said so last week.
We will be in some version of Phase 2 for the next two months. Get used to it.

He laid the groundwork last week for barely hanging on to Phase 2 instead of going back to Phase 1.

He will def. be extending it. He will bang the drum about part of the reason being because some schools are starting back up and wanting to make sure of no spikes.
And then he's going to extend again to make sure we can stay in the current phase until after Labor Day to make sure people don't have too much fun and stuff and cause problems.

Yup.
He also vastly expanded testing for the past month and now we know why. It was an attempt to have the "highest cases per capita" and with that comes higher federal funding and the ability to keep citizens in fear longer.

You asked if we are going to Phase 3, not SHOULD WE go to Phase 3.
