St. George in BR is still requiring masks. I’m not sure why I pay to send my kid to a Catholic school if they are just going to do whatever EBR Parish Public schools are doing.

Exactly. The whole point of sending your kids to private school is so they don’t do the dumb things that government schools do.

Our Catholic school in NOLA burbs dropping mandate effective tomorrow.
The school email referenced guidance from the Archdiocese Superintendent so I guess that means New Orleans area Catholic schools will all be mask optional.

What are you talking about?
Dr.Houston,.the Archdiocese of New Orleans school superintendent told our school it is ok to go mask optional.
I assume the same direction will be given to all Archdiocese of New Orleans schools.

Diocese of Baton Rouge is disappointment to say the least.
The bishop put out a mask mandate before JBE did back in August.

Nothing from Lafourche yet.
Shame I lost all my kids’ masks in a tragic hurricane accident.

Anyone heard talk of what St Tammany will do? Nothing is posted on their website yet. I will be so angry if they don’t let us choose.

I am pleasantly surprised but the bishop just sent out and email saying no masks or optional.
