Why do legal documents have to be worded like this?

He'll be proposing a new tax to combat flooding

I'm surprised the Governor had time to issue this proclamation. I thought he'd be busy reading the 6000 page SG petition.

No, we have our wall to protect us.

Seriously if the levees broke south of LSU I would guess most of SG would be under water.

Have been wondering about that, obviously the flooding would be massive but where would the water go, I would assume highland would provide some relief as it use to be a natural levee

Isn’t there a link to a pdf in the other thread that has a graphic if what would flood? I can’t find it now but it seems to me an area right inside the 10-12 split would flood. When I lived in Westminster we had to have flood insurance because it was considered to be in a flood plain.

If you HAD to blow the levees somewhere to save something like LSU, where would you blow them?
