We had some of the highest numbers in the state this week. Clearly, masks don't work.

I don’t follow that logic.

Idk
I’d rather think it’s some kind of BS mask mandate than shutting businesses down

If states start going backwards & shutting down businesses the fed unemployment set to expire 7/31 will be extended
If that happens you have people getting paid to protest, destroy statues & cause chaos

I’m not sure my businesses or many like mine will be able to survive if we backtrack

I heard we’re going back to an even stricter phase 1. We will be required to wear masks even on our own property. Cutting the grass, better have a mask on.

EBR also has the highest population of any parish in the state, but let's not get facts get in the way of anything.

When Cameron Parish is blowing the doors off of this thing, then we have a problem.

I actually get the argument. If the goal is to stop droplets then what difference does covering your nose make if your eyes are unprotected.

New restrictions on bars too supposedly. He didn’t think to ask about restaurants.

Hell. No.

My husband is a rice farmer ... he will I can guarantee you NOT be wearing a mask while out in the fields managing water, repairing equipment etc.

LOL

People said I was crazy when I said the government would eventually require masks to be worn outdoors. Sweet, naive summer children.

You gave the mouse a cookie and now it wants milk to go with it.

I was almost unanimously downvoted for saying you would be publically shamed for not wearing a mask.

Monitoring hospitalizations is being used as an early indicator to problems. It is a point of debate whether that is true or not.

My mom was telling me that a guy at a hospital in Lake Charles was saying they are admitting people for observation, and then turning them out a few days later.

How much of that is going on, I don't know, and I don't know of that is true or not, but that is why I don't put much weight in hospitalizations. We don't know anything about those being hospitalized, except what the people running this show say.
