2) dude has had several falls lately apparently.
3) why is a guy worth half a bill staying at Hampton Inns?

Probably "visiting" someone who was staying at a Hampton Inn, then "fell down a hill" after a disagreement.

Outside of buying cars, Jay is notoriously frugal/cheap.
He still works like 7 days per week despite being worth around $400 million. He has a drive about him and at his age I would think that is catching up to him thinking he can still push like he used to.
When I lived in Cali, Jay had a schedule at the Hermosa Beach Comedy Club every Sunday night to do a full set and I went to see it a few times. That was after a full week of filming and doing other sets all over L.A. Just nuts how hard he pushes himself.
ETA: Looks like he still does his set every Sunday too

Steam car blowing up in his face, almost getting decapitated while riding one of his motorcycles, and now he's falling down a hill next to the Hampton Inn. He should hope bad luck comes in 3s and he's done for a while.
