Good business move by Food Network.

Two close competitors, I'd choose the better looking minority over the jolly, chubby guy every day

Totally. Black people have no business being on tv. Boooo.

Other guy, I agree. Eddie will help bring in some fresh demographic for sure. He was a well deserved winner. Also seems like a cool dude.

Paula Deen would have never lost her show if that was the case. On second thought, they're UGA people. You may have a point....

You don't get robbed when you aren't the better cook.

Eddie knocked it out of the park each and every time

Not even close to true. Did you even watch the series or just come here to troll?

I'm fine with Eddie winning, I think it was between him and Jay the whole season. But this is stupid if you watched. Jay's the only competitor who was never up for elimination.

Eddie had more flub than Jay that much is true...

I think Eddie being a former football player, his physique, and the fact he has charisma that could carry over into other events helped him.

They can teach you to cook, they can't teach the rest. Jay will being comfortable in front of the camera and being the better cook may have been a bit bland for the network.

Very cool dude and will be fine. I'm fine with Eddie winning. It was close all year. I think Jay never making the bottom 3 should have weighed in a little more but whatever. They could both end up with shows.

And you stand by his 'knocked it out of the park every time' statement?

This guy disagrees with you. Sure he's a Cajun but seems like he knows more than you about food and shite.

Commenting on his lack of consistency

On the other hand, Eddie wasn’t nearly as dependable, either in the kitchen or in front of the camera. While there’s no denying the power for his smile is enough to hold a TV show on its own, he had a few misses in his presentations – pork chops on Halloween! – and didn’t always nail his meals either aesthetically or flavor-wise. I still get shudders thinking about his gray shrimp, and there were a few weeks where he was lucky to move forward to the next week.

I thought Jay was the front runner all season, but Eddie seems like a good dude and he'll do fine with his own show. I couldn't believe Dom got as far as he did. But he was pretty solid by the end

But does he know more than Profesional celebrity chefs that make millions on TV? Apparently not since they picked their winner

But don't worry, jay will handle himself just fine on WAFB's in the kitchen
