Yes, images of the perp will leak before it hits the media.
I imagine the people that were out there and have those videos are sleeping right now.

The rear bumper has a color matching trim vs. entry level black bumper. Could very well be a dealer rental. That's clearly the only other possibility besides an outright purchase. Killer would've had to make at least one stop between HTX and NOLA to charge it. The max range it could get is 320 miles in perfect conditions, nonstop. And I believe that's with the highest trim possible.

Omg, just waking up to this. We were on Bourbon St last Monday, first time I’d been there since 2022. We were there late too, till 2 am. Wife made us leave because she said nothing good happens on Bourbon St past 1 am. I laughed it off, but she was right. Prayers to the families and RIP to the lost ones. Such a sad situation.

There’s 0 chance anyone who was involved in this slept last night

My apologies, but this doesn’t make sense. Iberville is the first block off of Canal heading up Bourbon into the FQ. Are you saying the truck turned from Iberville onto Bourbon, heading in the wrong direction (certainly possible) towards Canal, and only traveled less than one block?
I dunno, seems like that’s where a majority of the carnage is, but I just heard some witness say he was speeding from about 8 blocks away…

I would as well. I seriously doubt there will be a wave of attacks in one city. But I wouldn’t risk it.

That’s quite a statement Chief.
In other words, he drove around your large signs.
My understanding is that the suspect drove on the sidewalk around the steel barricades in the ground to cause max carnage based on one of the articles I’ve already come across

My wife and I were just reminiscing last night that it had been 11 years since we spent NYE on Bourbon Street two days before Oklahoma beat Alabama in the Sugar Bowl.
Then we woke up to this news.

Stay out of the cities. None of them are safe.

we need someone with access to the Texas DMV to run those plate number.
I also assume the first digit of that license plate is a letter, not a number.

Curious: on one video, they’re doing CPR on a body (maybe the driver) right outside the truck with the flashers still on and there’s no flag on the truck.
It is there. It is not untied

People that witnessed it? I’m sure they are, maybe not on purpose but chances are if you were walking the streets of Bourbon at 3am on NYE, you’re probably plastered and passed out by now.

You can put poles in the ground on the sidewalk to block vehicles but not block people from walking on the sidewalk. It’s not a novel concept. No excuse to not have that.

Awful news. Another reason to NOT visit this once great city. RIP for the innocent victims

acting like this was a coordinated attack on that is so fricking stupid. The guy literally went in the opposite direction of those bars. CNN just couldn’t wait to interject their gay bullshite however they could
I do t think they be acted like it was an attack on lgbt just like it wasn’t on the restaurants or Jackson square. They were just taking the top couple items off the tourism website to set the scene on what was going on in the quarter primarily

An incident just like this happened in Waukesha, WI at a Christmas parade. You aren’t safe from these assholes anywhere.
We keep letting them enter our southern border under the guise of “refugees”

Joe Giurusso is saying they are actively sweeping the quarter and downtown for ieds. Also alluded that several may have been detonated by authorities.

Reddit is full of people who are making statements that they witnessed it or were near when this went down. Just go to the New Orleans subgroup
