I scrolled through some of @JackStr42679640 posts in the last several months. What a wild coincidence that his account is nothing but one fear mongering conspiracy after another AND that he knows a guy with a daughter who is a paramedic that was on scene in NOLA.

The woman loses her son and still finds a way to rationalize it in her brain that ignores the facts (which are obviously at odds with her personal beliefs). She could work for CNN.

He was probably the guy that let Simone know that Ferris passed out at 31 flavors.

We've all seen the photos but why not show the surveillance video of him placing them there instead? As I said in a previous post, the FBI just doesn't do themselves any favors in this day and age of people not trusting them. Release the video of him doing it so the public can see that he was alone in placing them. A zoomed in photo of him there doesn't mean he wasn't with someone else. My suspicion is that he did have help in this attack and they're backtracking that notion so as to not spook the accomplices off their trail. You don't watch surveillance video of drunk Bourbon Street attendees casually touching these coolers, playing with the coolers, whatever the hell they initially saw and not know within minutes whether they were involved or not. My thinking is they know others are involved and had to backtrack that statement.

I'll add this as well:
If they DID watch drunkards in contact with those coolers and still wrongly thought strongly enough that they were involved in a terrorist attack to come out and say so to the public, then holy shite we're talking a massive amount of incompetence on the part of our nation's highest law enforcement agency.
Here's how I imagine this might have been...
Drunkards saw the coolers, opened them to see no beer and then started rolling it or pretending to take them for instagram pics (look how drunk I am, I am steeling this cooler I found on Bourbon) then quickly realized "wtf am I gonna do with this out here?" and left them alone. Someone viewing security footage of something like this is going to decipher that they weren't involved pretty quickly.
So it's either something along those lines OR whoever they viewed on security footage messing with these coolers did so in a more deliberate fashion.
Every business on Bourbon St has cameras and I'd imagine almost all of them have one pointing to the door and/or windows facing the street. Law enforcement agencies would be able to quickly watch everyone on Bourbon St walk up and down the street to see where they've been and where they went, as well as everything they did along the way.
My point is the likelihood of confusing Bourbon St drunks with someone involved in a more sinister plot is probably pretty low.

I hate speculating on shite like this but I am thinking along the same lines. This is exactly how the FBI gets themselves into the shyt they do during questioning at pressers.
You claim to have video of him actually placing the coolers. You claim no others involved.... if true, I can't form any other conclusion on why you can't release the video of him placing it other than you don't have it, or there was actually someone else involved.

Just so you know the whole family is suffering! Sometimes in grief we don't say the right things or act the way others would prefer. Give her a break! She just lost a really good kid.

You make a great point. She's going through something I pray every single day I never do. I shouldn't pretend that I would make much sense in the things I say or do if I were in her shoes.

I wonder with the heavy police presence if people are still smoking weed blatantly in public. Went a couple weeks ago and it was surreal the amount of weed I smelled. Fwiw I smoke too but didn’t do it down there.
Possession is only a misdemeanor in New Orleans. I wish people would just eat edibles or drink it but is what it is.
And frankly our cops have significantly more important things to do than harassing people for smoking weed.

Heck, even a picture of him pulling or carrying a cooler 2 blocks away?
Again, not saying it’s proof of anything but it invites all the questions that they released the photos of him and the devices separately and then are pushing for info on anyone that was around the cooler if firmly asserting lone wolf

Not to mention, it looks like that post is from mid-day on January 1. There weren't a lot of facts at the time and they just lost their son, so they probably weren't sitting around watching the news or reading threads on the internet.

Of all the places to choose to start a multiple points terrorist attack on the USA they choose the greater New Orleans area?
Major tourist town with Mardi Gras/Super Bowl in the next several weeks. Major shipping hub with the Port. All 6 major railways go through NOLA, I10, etc. Our fun culture goes against pretty much all of their radical beliefs.
NOLA is a fantastic choice for terrorists to target
Downvoters cast their votes while ignoring that this guy drove through Houston to come here to commit this act.
