Our leaders must make the hard decision and elect to fully invade and eradicate every single one of them in the middle east. There is nothing pretty about war and sometimes yiu have to become evil to beat evil. Until this happens , there will always be this type of terror that moves about the world. Sadly we dont have the guts.
I hear you but yeah I don't think genocide is politically viable

War on evil isn't genocide but I understand.

How many lives did that forklift save?
It's not a forklift. It's a manlift.
Some people call them a snorkel lift, but yeah, it's lucky it was there.

I think he would've been blocked by some balcony poles on the next intersection at Iberville.

we know already, he lost time with his kids due to being a wacko convert to islam. planned to kill his whole family, then decided it would be better to kill innocents instead.

idk it could be a few different reasons.
Could be that his 401k wasn't doing very well. Could be that he didn't get what he wanted for Christmas.
Or it could be that a radicalized ISIS supporter hates western culture and wants to murder civilians to create terror.
You're right.....we'll probably never know.

I’m not engaging in this foolishness

So they go up and down OR are they removable?? “Stored” makes me think removable. I’m sure up/down are more expensive but moving/storing takes manpower and time.

And this is the second version of them. Before that metal gate they had smaller bollards that were replaced in 2022.
This is November 2022.
Notice it is further back from the Canal Street.
I find it funny no one in the media pointed out these street view images yet.

No one said anything about TSA or anything of the sort. The fact is lots of major cities have hardened protection for their heavy pedestrian areas and sidewalks. These poles don’t impede on ADA accessibility at all.
All these posts about it could’ve happened during the day or a different part of the city. Sure it could’ve, but it didn’t and to not be able to admit that risks can’t be eliminated but can be mitigated is asinine.

mean, the flag could be a plant to be fair just so we don’t question it further.
You are such a fricking idiot.

The electric truck played a major role here in the deadliness of the night and will need to be taken into account forever. The police car technically did its job in preventing a high speed vehicle from entering Bourbon. The issue is the EV was super quiet and super quick acceleration. The police would have had a much better chance of gunning down and stopping the vehicle had it been a ICE vehicle.
It was also NY and loud and with likely fireworks constantly going off. So a ton of distractions.
You could prevent this on the absolute main areas, but the fringe areas will be eternally impossible where vehicles and pedestrians meet.
