My "watches too much TV" mind thought hmm, I wonder if it turned out those were field assets and the three letter agencies needed to get people to stop looking for them.

3:15 is pretty fricking late.
And if you’re in town for the game you’ve probably been partying and drinking all day.
The crowd on bourbon thins out a bunch after 1 or so

I’m a bit surprised we don’t have a poster that was down there when all this was going on.

Was in NOLA for a work conference in April, we went out to the FQ the last night and most of my coworkers stayed out until 3 or so. I bailed around 12:30 and walked back to the hotel, started getting a rougher looking crowd around that time.

The truck going to Eagle Pass in November is still very odd to me. I don’t care if the authorities say it was completely unrelated to this attack.
You’re looking at a 7-8 hour trip with traffic leaving Houston and charging just to get there. One way.
Fewer charging stations if any in Mexico I assume once you cross. And for what to visit family? Possibly
Unless the original owner drove it. I find it very odd someone picking that vehicle, to rent, to make such a long trip and into Mexico. Weird.

Watch the video. He was rolling in sideways out of control and trying to regain control. Therefore the redhead girl was spared.

Yeah I'm not convinced yet there is zero connection to Mexico, even if it's different than my original thoughts. Reminds me of a show where terrorists come into the US on 18 wheelers or something like that.
