Believe it or not, that's actually normal, and much less severe than actual infection. That's your primary immune response at work, so that if you actually get infected, your secondary immune response will hopefully quickly eradicate the infection.

The CDC did a poor job of explaining this early on, when the COVID vaccine was reducing spread with earlier variants that were not as contagious as current ones. So I get the confusion. But if you’re able to utilize Google, it shouldn’t be hard to know different at this point.
That or we desperately need more basic science classes in schools.

The flu shot doesn’t give you the flu.
It stimulates your immune system and that’s your immune response. It’s teaching your body how to handle that flu strain should you encounter it later so you have less severe symptoms.

All anyone needs to know is they had to change the defintion of vaccine because of the not real vaccine

Fair enough. I know that’s the case with West Nile vaccine in horses. The term flu shot is gone now from all emails urging people to get protected…it’s now flu vaccine and I’m commenting on it.

The definition of vaccine has always remained the same. The people who tried to persuade you about the effectiveness or lack thereof of the covid vaccine changed the definition to make a vaccine seem like a protective shield. Breakthrough infection is always possible, some vaccines (smallpox and polio) are better at preventing breakthrough infections than others (flu and covid)

Not a bad narrative AT FIRST since we've eradicated smallpox and nearly have eradicated polio and many other diseases because of vaccination programs. Now since covid mutates a lot, similar to the flu, it will be impossible to completely eradicate it

You do realize you contradict yourself in two sentences.
I don't know why so many people are so willing to just crap on anyone who points out that the definition of vaccine DID change with COVID to provide protection for both the government and Big Pharma.
Calling people morons for pointing this out is just absurd to me.
We KNOW the CDC changed the definition recently. Why is pointing that out so outrageous?

Well since polio will likely be eradicated because of the vaccine, the vaccine does protect against the disease. Not all vaccines are equal

I know you won't accept that, but if I gave you both the definitions in 2018 and asked you which more accurately fit the flu shot, which definition would you have chose?
