Every biker I know say the grass clippings thing isn’t what it’s made out to be and other factors contribute to an accident.

We do... but that last strip at the edge of the lawn will most certainly spit grass in the road. Edging your lawn does so as well.

Plus, it blows away quickly simply by having traffic drive past and stir it up and diffuse it, or wind, or the next shower.
