Hey man, keep writing them if you want to, just know no one thinks they’re good. Yet you toot your own horn like you’re some modern day Shakespeare

But I’ve never understand the religion-based violent opposition to things like evolution. Is it not possible in your world that God designed and facilitated evolution?

Absolutely. I think taking Bible stories literally is dumb. At the time it was written there was very little scientific understanding and it would be reasonable to believe God “simplified” things when he commanded the men who wrote the Bible. To think God snapped his fingers in 7 days and created everything is taking it too literal. Think of it like a science project for a student, it takes time and effort to create it. The 24 hour day 365 day year did not exist at that time. That calendar was created thousands of years later by man. God is not of this earth, his realm is entirely different. A day in Gods time could easily have been millions of years in human time.

If you look at the order in which the Bible says things were created, it falls into line exactly the order that science says things evolved. The “timeframe” isn’t really relevant because we cannot comprehend time in Gods realm, because it is infinite.

So again, there is no substance to your criticism. It is the boo of a galoot, based on diddly.

I don't fancy myself a modern day anything. I just put a bit of rhythm and rhyme to things sometimes. Probably less than 10% of my posts. The rest are bad puns and cheeky one-liners and arguing with idiots who can't articulate why something is bad.

What do we fundamentally disagree about?

Quick question, do you believe God does this as well for the millions and millions of those on earth that were reared in a different faith tradition?

My grandpa had several vintage vehicles when I was young that made an impression on me. The interior of 30’s car had a very distinct smell in the interior and every once in a while I will get a wiff of that smell and it immediately takes me back to being with him riding in those cars and working on them. I wish he were still here to help me with this 1976 Bronco that is giving me fits. He is reason I have it today.

If humans did evolve modern human existence would’ve started in earnest with one man and one woman

The mathematical impossibility of 2 humans, 1 male and 1 female, evolving at the same exact time in prehistoric history, within approximate enough distance to have met during their breeding years to find each other and not only produce an offspring, but raise that child in harsh conditions when infant mortality rates would have been off the charts, is staggering.

Up to the 1800s, the world infant mortality rate was still above 50% until the age of 15, and we were somewhat refined then: Housing, farming, domesticated animals, shops, doctors, medicines, etc. All it would have taken is the first few infants to have died in the first evolutionary cycle, and all of humanity dies.

Its actually much easier to accept the creation of 2 capable adults being formed and in a protected "garden" with unlimited food supplies, Then using their learned skills to reproduce and nurture children into fully functioning, communicating adults, and not some subspecies blindly sampling harmful weeds, unforeseen weather, carnivores, etc that would instantly end humanity. And the planet awaits another evolutionary cycle to start it all over again?

Why couldn’t god be the driving force behind evolution? The Bible says 7 days. You think 7 24 hour periods.

A day in gods time could be a billion years.
