Me personally, no way I’m surviving that crash and then drowning.

If anyone drowned, I’d imagine it’ll be single digits.

Was still a 200’-400’ fall to the water.

it is, extremely gruesome

I talked some some of the mountaineers and others who went up in the Chilkat Mts when Alaska Flight 1866 crashed and they said they were given booze before being sent up there to find body parts. Lots of booze

Wish they could’ve heated the river before the plane crashed into it.

waist deep you are saying… is the same as hitting concrete. So they fell from a 40 story building at 100+ mph, hit the water and bottom of the river I’m sure and you think someone survived that and drowned?

If the impact/fireball didn’t get them, the sudden stop at the end of the fall from 400 feet did.

Did we even need this post?

You don’t survive that impact and survive that fall and then survive the water temps.

After I read about that girl that fell 30k feet into the damned jungle... I don't doubt a human being's ability to survive just about anything.

there's been quite a few instances of this happening, she wasn't at 30k feet but high enough to where it should have killed her

what? That crash was violent. Silly didn’t buy a goose and glide it in. I would bet most survived seconds after impact or it was instant

Terribly sad.

I'm guessing the vast majority, if not all, died in the impact fireball.

I also cant fricking imagine scrolling facebook and then literally being involved in a mid-air head on collision right before landing at night in DC. Even if someone was alive after all that how the hell does your brain process an event like that? You're probably def and disoriented from the sound alone.
o and btw you have about one maybe two seconds before you hit the water and the cabin is flooded with 34 degree water. The ice tub at my gym sits at 48-52 and people cry about it after KNOWINGLY sitting in it for 2 minutes. 34? Hell the king crab guys will die after ten minutes in the water if they don't have a life suit on.

No. just a ton of nope all around and I pray God welcomed them all with open arms after.
