None of these beta soy bread rioters have face true hardships. There is not a single excuse in todays America that you can’t be anything you want.

Minor point maybe, but the United States isn’t even close to the freest country in the world.

Human Freedom Index - US is 23rd

Agreed. It’s tiresome that it’s always someone else’s fault.

Odd that countries without freedom of speech are ranked higher than US.

Canada is a socialists country with criminal penalties for “hate speech” and a stricter immigration policy. Ranked higher than us is a joke.

Switzerland is relatively free horizontally, as in you’re as free as anyone else in your similar situation, but it is almost impossible to improve your situation, and if you commit a crime you are fricked. You’re basically born into a class and a job and that’s it. And it is full of socialist policies.

In America we have one of if not the most fluid societies in terms of wealth. Anyone in this country regardless of race or creed or education can move up and accumulate wealth. That in an of itself makes this the best country on the planet.

And if you for some reason refuse to advance your position in life and live in “poverty” we have one of the absolute largest social safety nets ever.

The poor in America are wealthy compared to half the planet.

Just completely tone deaf. Anyone who thinks minorities haven’t faced true hardships is really living in their own world of delusion.

I can absolutely guarantee you that 99% of the Middle class white frickheads that label themselves ANTIFA have never faced any form of hardship and if they did they’d just cry about how unfair it is instead of rising to the occasion.

People of al races and all classes have faced true hardships. That’s not exclusive to minorities.

And in 2020, there are no specific minority hardships. There were decades ago, some very horrific ones specific only to minorities. But that is not the case anymore.

If you disagree, please list the minority specific hardships in present day 2020 America.

That is a very important metric, and one we do very well in. But there are others we do poorly in. For example, law and order. The chances of being victimized by crime are extremely high in the US. You can argue that your chances are low, but remember, they are not ranking the US on Breesus’ freedom alone.

What about our courts? It routinely takes seven or eight years to get civil suits resolved. That negatively impacts our freedom. Also, we have limits on free speech in America. Our universities have speech codes, and we have hate crimes.

You are wrong that our social safety net is one of the largest ever. Our poor do not get anywhere near the medical care that many other societies get. And if you’re measuring it by how much money we spend as a country, the prize would have to go to the USSR and Red China, which spent most of their national budget on their safety net, for what that was worth.

Lastly, the size of government is an important metric, and our government is bloated.

Is it? I’d like to see the studies on that. Most of the ones I read incorrectly compare statistics. For example people always say things like: “ you’re more likely to be the victim of a gun crime so America must be worse.” But that’s just because we have more guns. Compare genera violent crime and burglary rates regardless of the tool used and you get a different picture.

Also, relative likelihood to be victim of a crime has almost nothing to do with freedom. If anything that’s because we have a free-er society. You don’t go to prison for years for petty crimes. We’d have less crime with stricter iron fist penalties like many other countries have.

Which country has less restrictions on speech than America?

quote:

Our poor do not get anywhere near the medical care that many other societies get

Specifically what societies have better healthcare for the poor and what do America’s poor not have access to that other country’s poor do.

quote:

the prize would have to go to the USSR and Red China, which spent most of their national budget on their safety net, for what that was worth.

You honestly think you’re better off being poor in China or Russia than the US? You think China and Russia spend more money on their poor than we do?

And yet People from every other country in the world come here for health care if they’re able. In fact, why don’t you post some immigration numbers- legals and illegals- to illustrate how many folks are moving to Russia and Red China for health care.
