Which associate should I ask? The one that said she needed to find the one with the key or the three that said they don’t work in the department that I was able to find halfway across the store? Those are your only options.

I went there a few weeks ago to get signal light bulb for my work van. They were locked in a glass case. I left and went to Autozone.

That business model has got to be failing when I wait 10 minutes near the family planning case, get associates to page someone for a key, wait some more and finally leave because nobody shows up. It’s absurd. Sales have to be tanking. It’s ridiculous and it happens all the time.

What?? Sales tanking?
Walmart revenue as of 1/3124 - $648.1 Billion
Walmart revenue as of 1/31/5 - $685.1 Billion
over 6% increase year over year.
They don't care about your rubbers they care about their profits just like any smart business model would operate. If they didn't take care of this then you might be starting a thread about their prices. Can't have it both ways.

They need to lock up trading cards. All those middle aged jackasses wouldn't take all the Pokémon from little kids.

Why do you think malls failed and Amazon succeeded? People don’t want to deal with the thugs loitering and the constant threat of being robbed. Food deserts exist for a reason.

They’re shutting down most of the Self Checkouts also.I asked why and was told it was because of excessive thefts.
Only like 4 open and an employee watching like a hawk.

Good, and those lanes need to be legit express. People walking up with a basket or what they can carry. Not full carts.

Now they need to go back to checkout peeps that are fast, not the slow old foreigners that don't speak English.

I've stopped buying liquor at Kroger and Walmart because of this.

Many times I have pushed the button to summons a Walmart employee to come and open the liquor case. Then they may or may not show up. Most times not. Then every employee you ask says they don't have a key. There has to be a better system.

A worker at Walmart told me the spray paint is locked up to prevent kids from huffing it. Pretty sad if true.

right?

last time I tried to buy a box of rubbers from walmart, the associate said that the lock was broken and they couldn't open it, so I was shite out of luck.

I know they went with self checkout because the concept was potentially cheaper.

I am curious if they lost more money from theft than what they saved by not hiring cashiers.

Yep. No way the wife stands at Wal Mart and waits to get our Astroglide. I will, but she won't. Even when they have to get on the loud speaker for an associate with a key. She was with me last time I did it. They had the flavored one she likes. She walked off but met back up at checked out only to find I was purchasing a Diddy level quantity.
