Tyranny.

ETA: students who’s parents CHOOSE to send their kids to those institutions. Teachers and administrators who CHOOSE to work there. Yet this school is forced to close when association with it is entirely voluntary and non compulsory.

I await the inevitable announcement that they will open the school for childcare programs that will help kids during the day with their schoolwork and will charge the parents for the service.

If this happens in Louisiana, I better get my refund back from my son’s private school.

But Fauci still can’t tell us if we should allow huge protests.

Courts are going to have a time and a half dealing with 5th Amendment lawsuits when this is all over.

Eat a dick.

The government can choke on a chode.

It’s time for anyone with common sense to move to a community where your life matters and your voice is heard.

Yes? Such an order would have to come from the governor in my state.

Maybe not.

Check your bylaws.

State doesn't control county schoolboards.

Yeah. They should be in Phase 3, not closing schools

They tried this in Texas in the big counties. Basically got told they couldn’t do it and funding would be withheld.

Many are doing the first few weeks online then in person after Labor Day. My district was smart and just delayed the start two weeks to September 8. At that point you choose online or in person.

Yeah, State Attorney General Paxton had to remind local politicians(and the Governor) and local health authorities yesterday that the word "Independent" is in the name independent school district for a reason here in Texas.
