I’m saying it would be very hard to do it in a way where shite wouldn’t catch up to you fast UNLESS you had been prepared for this beforehand.
Tons of soldiers being moved around, you have to have fuel, munitions, etc, ready to go, have to draw up plans, etc.
The Six Day War happened like it did because it was a slow boil where Egypt and most other Muslim powers were deployed on the Israeli border over an extended period, putting the entire country on a war footing in response. It let them have everything where it needed to be in order to start things by destroying the entire Egyptian Air Force on the ground.

This is a little different than calling up reservists in the US and sending them overseas. The Israelis can do this pretty quick. I think a ground offensive begins within the next 2-4 nights.

Let me rephrase, I know the want to - badly.
But there might be significant advantages to waiting as long as the Palestinians continue to raid and launch. As long as they continue to move within Gaza they are showing you... A) the paths, assumed to have a minimal amount of pre-set traps; think "game trail" and B) let some retreat, tag, and monitor to find out where they are refitting.
Then follow those paths right to their support points. Hit those (air and ground), back out, then proceed with your original plan.
You run a very low risk of losing momentum in your own troops waiting - they are and will remain highly motivated. You also let the cease fire/over-react crowd to spend their energy pre-whining before you even move (from a political/PR standpoint).

Thanks for your reply. Definitely a tarbaby. My prayers to the IDF soldiers and families as well as to the innocent Palestine children who will die in the upcoming unfortunate but necessary military action, as well as to our people who are already there or will soon be.
This was so mfering completely unnecessary. Hopefully, Hezbollah is not as stupid as Hamas and doesn’t attack too. I hope Iran is made to pay for this bullshite, we all know they are pulling all the strings, and planned this shite to keep the Saudis from normalizing relations with Israel.
