re: Israel–Hamas War Discussion Thread: News Links On First Page

I quoted the posts directly. They say exactly what they say. If you meant something else, then that's on you to be more clear.
They didn't refer to Hamas in Gaza. They referred to
Gaza =/= "Palestine" or the Islamic community as a whole.
When checked, YOU defended their statement by saying ...
... which is true, but not what was originally said. If you knew what you were talking about in the first place and not defended a non-factual statement, you wouldn't have had to move the goalposts. So yeah, I'd say you probably do need a little help. (Which I've been happy to do and don't mind continuing.)
quote:
You were replying to someone else and I was pointing out that regarding the current situation, yes, Hamas hasbhad majority support for a long time in Gaza.
Again, you're arguing semantics equating Gaza with Palestinians. We don't need you telling us that Gaza and the West Bank aren't the same.
They didn't refer to Hamas in Gaza. They referred to
quote:
1. Hamas has overwhelming support within Palestine and the Islamic community as a whole.

When checked, YOU defended their statement by saying ...
quote:
Hamas has had support and control in Gaza
quote:
But in Gaza, Hamas has had favor and control since the last elections were held in 2006.
That's a fact.

Hamas didn't make the decision. Hamas is a puppet and was told to dance, so they danced. The puppetmaster(s) doesn't/don't care if there's upside for Hamas specifically ... because the upside is for the puppetmaster(s). They attacked Israel, but indirectly via proxy, so can cry foul if there's a response, and took no direct casualties themselves (not yet anyway...that very well may change).
That's the beauty of it. The puppet attacks and is attacked while the hand itself remains intact.
It's actually kind of a Russian doll.
Iran relies on Hamas to take the heat, but Hamas relies on innocent civilians to take the heat for Hamas.
Having innocent Muslim Arabs be killed by the IDF is always the ultimate goal in these operations. That's how they continue the perpetual victim card, and have done so for half a century. They know they can't win, but they know they will lose if they don't have innocent Arab Muslims killed by the IDF with some regularity.

Gaza is about to get wiped off the map, Israeli Defense Minister seems totally focused on accomplishing this. Problem is there’s a lot of people living in Gaza not associated with Hamas including children. This is going to get even more horrific than it had been

That is a very dangerous view to hold, imo.
I can understand how some may disagree. And I do recognize that it is a dangerous idea. However Islam has proven time and time again that peace and compromise are not an option. I don’t know another way to make it stop.

It doesn't really matter to discuss all of the analytical nuances. God warned Israel back in Numbers 33 not to allow them to live there. Israel needs to take Gaza and remove its inhabitants. Should have been done years ago. Next up is to conduct a large scale air/missile campaign on Iran. Again, should have been done YEARS ago.

Until Israel (under the auspices of self defense) forcibly removes the Palestinian population either by elimination or forced exile.

They were all warned before attacking.

I can’t care your intentions, intelligent, or background, if you have a solution, spit it out because it’s alluded us for 3,000 years or so.
I've never claimed to have a solution because there is no solution.
I said in another thread that, in my opinion, there is only:
A) Israel pushes the Palis completely out of Gaza and the WB, taking it all
B) Israel cedes everything, including Jerusalem, to the Palis and leaves
C) The status quo
There's no "2 state solution" or anything of the kind. C might involve periods of relative peace and maybe even cooperation, but it will also involve periods of war. Same old shite, different decade.

The problem is that no other Arab nation wants Palestinians, especially after decades of breeding post-brain drain. They would not be sending their best.

Evacuate those residents who are still left in Gaza and the WB to Iran.

Bodycam video of Hamas entering Kibbutz Kissufim.
A dog tries to chase the terrorists away but is shot.
They then enter the home of an Israeli family, open their fridge and set the house on fire.

They literally have no where to go, don’t try to justify war crimes.
