Do you have any evidence I made the claim that Hamas doesn't enjoy support from Palestinians?
You don't. You built a strawman and then whacked at it with a ridiculous article that states, within the article itself, why your use of it was dumb.
Re: "trust me bro"
I deal in facts, logical, and unemotional/rational thought. I don't do fallacies, including appeals to authority.
I haven't thrown out credentials or other details for several reasons. The most I've said about myself is that I lived/worked over there for years and know the ground/situation in great detail. It was my business to know then and I have kept up with it since.
I have had some unavoidable down time over the last few weeks and thought I might offer some perspective on a current topic I know quite a bit about.
It's the internet. If it gets lost in the bullshite and you (and others) want to remain ignorant/misinformed, fine with me.
Here's the irony - we probably agree on the overarching issue (who should do what to whom). The difference is when such a position is taken, I think it should be based on a foundation of facts. The right position, when based on bullshite, leaves room for the details (and therefore the position itself, even if right) to be attacked.
But people don't read and/or take the time to process. They just interpret "no, not every Pali wants to kill Jews" as taking Hamas' side, become apoplectic, and start arguing against a strawman. It not only detracts from informational debate/discussion, but also makes people look really REALLY fricking dumb.

Do you understand what BRICS is and how they are working against the USD as a reserve currency right now?
This attack helps push one of those nations right into our enemies lap.
Do you understand the importance of the use of the Petro dollar as reserve currency to support our deficit spending?
Do you understand the inflationary consequences of us having to print many more dollars than we would have to already to support our deficit spending and float our existing debt?
I promise none of that is laughable.

I find it ironic that the same people who scream “Free Palestine” and are mad that Jews build communities in “Palestinian lands” are the same ones who support open borders and unlimited immigration here in the US.

Visegrad24 twitter video showing Israel taking out a building. Really cool angles
Another video from Visegrad24 showing mulitple buildings being hit at the same time in Gaza

You are very emotional about this topic, completely unprovoked as well. Calm down.
I posted a link to a survey with data. You have done pretty much nothing besides post your own opinion.
Hamas had 53% support of Palestinians in 2021. Do you have evidence it went down since then?
Multiple videos have surfaced of Palestinians cheering and celebrating after the attacks. Do you have videos of Palestinians condemning the attacks?

I also had to walk my dad through how to set up a TV antenna.

You posted a link to single data point at a single moment in time and used it to draw a conclusion about one of the most complex/nuanced geopolitical situations in modern history.
Not only did you cherrypick, the article itself clearly stated why that single data point was less than useful. Whether you failed to read it or did and used it anyway, it's not a great look for you.
And now you're being pedantic.
I can tell you fall squarely in the fat part of the distribution - not dumb, but completely unremarkable and also poorly informed on the topic at hand.
Where you reside, that will probably fly (strength in numbers). It won't fly with me though. Save it for someone else.

Gaza is about to fricking leveled.
Posted on 10/9/23 at 10:08 am to Burt Orangello
This is very accurate. To think most Palestinians are backwards people who support terrorism is so untrue. They are just normal people who want to live normal lives without having insane restrictions on their daily freedom. The loudest and worst voices always get the most attention (think people being afraid of “white nationalism ” in the US due to who the media gives attention to). Your average Palestinian doesn’t hate jews, they dislike the Zionist Israeli government that is oppressive to them.

Is Hamas still attacking Israel? Especially soft targets similar to the music festival?
Has Israel’s response so far been equal to or greater than the original sneak attack?
Can these 2 groups ever co-exist?

From what I gather, Israel's response has largely been through air strikes, so far. It sounds like an Israeli attack, much larger than what we have seen so far, is coming, though.

The USS Gerald R. Ford carrier strike group is being moved into that region of the Mediterranean Sea, per Fox News.
The Gerald R. Ford is the most advanced U.S. aircraft carrier.

Looks like near constant air strikes now. I don’t see a scenario where there isn’t a full scale invasion of Gaza by the Israelis.

They were already in that general area. More or less just moved a little closer.

I think they are finishing up clearing some of the neighborhoods where Hamas was going door to door. May be done now. It's not real clear.
They're still taking pot shots across the border. Hezbollah is doing the same in the north from the Lebanese border. The ro ket barrage from Gaza have continued since the initial attack as well. Iron Dome been putting in work, but they're saturating the air so much that some get through.

Ben Shapiro is showing quite a few videos on his show that I hadn’t seen.
Incomprehensible.
Palestine has to be wiped off the planet. An evil like that cannot be allowed to exist.
