When he says something about how to force those terrorists into some deal where they can be trusted to act peacefully I may listen. But Hamas and the rest of Iran's proxies are simply loud, threatening bullies that will make sneak attacks whenever they get a chance.

I just stumbled across an interview with the son of one of the founders of Hamas. He is an ex member er of Hamas who sought, and was granted asylum, here in the US. It was posted a week ago so sorry if it's already been shared here, but I think everyone should listen to this guy. Especially anyone pushing for a cease-fire or anything of that nature. Even he says the only way to move towards peace is war and the worst thing that has happened to Palestinians is Hamas, not Israel.
Really good insight that I think everyone should hear.

That guy has done several interviews over the years. They're definitely worth the time.

I believe Hez is much stronger than hamas and has members worldwide. Also, has more and better weaponry. But not a match for Israel
They're probably content right now to be a nuisance to Israel on the border, making it where they have to account for them and keep some forces there to keep them in check. That may become a bigger factor depending how long this drags on. Hezbollah also has the ability to gather other, smaller terrorist organizations to work with them.

Cash to Ukraine is one of the dumbest moves our government has made. You know damn well our representatives realize this money is going straight in the pockets of the few..
We just gave 100 mil to Hamas because purple haired weirdos were outraged that isreal would stand up to a terrorist attack
We've done way worse then the Ukrainian money

If you watch the Pro-Hamas Telegram channel, they carry dead children around like Merchandise. As if they're gathering up dead children as props for their videos.

Oh I know.
It just hurts hard to see dead children.

I agree, I have a 2yo and another on the way; as a new father, the images coming out of this conflict from both sides just hit me differently than anything I've experienced or seen in the past. I admit, I've found myself teared up watching videos of little kids shaking, torn up, dead, etc. I still just don't see a way out. Hamas is integrated completely into the civilian world, and if Israel just backs down, they will be showing weakness and inviting more attacks. The side with the most civilian kills in a day, is still Hamas.
It's truly just an unbelievable tragedy unwinding over there. There wont be a "winner" at the end of all of this.

The vice chancellor of Germany posted a 9 minute video that is one of the more cleared eyed retorts to the anti israel/Jew reactions seen across the world after October 7.
It also confirms my suspicion that we are a hopelessly silly and stupid people. For comparison, our vice chancellor is Kamala.

You should always keep in mind that Hamas has a choice. They have two choices, actually. They could surrender and end it. Or, they could choose to fight a war they started without hiding behind the civilian population.
Israel does not have a choice. That choice was taken from them on October 7th.

That's the psychology at play that Hamas is counting on. It is their oldest, most reliable play. The civilised world can't stomach it. That's why they willfully, by choice, put children in harm's way, in the direct line of fire. They then spend more on video equipment and "journalists" to cover and project those dead kids to the world than they ever spent on those kids while they were living.

Good. Youre human and have a heart.
I'll remind you though, the current status quo stacks up dead children every few years. 10/7 showed us that status quo aint one that can stand anymore.
Be mad, at Hamas. Call for the IDF to try to limit civilian casualties where they can, but we cant keep doing this over and over.

In that NSFW video, you see the crying dad, I assume, carrying his dead boy. That father’s sad and soon to be angry emotions need to be directed toward Hamas instead of Israel, but said father probably voted for Hamas and his barbaric policies. If all these civilians are truly innocent, then why are they controlled by such a small group of bloodthirsty terrorists?

This is as good a time as any for a daily reminder of what Hamas did (very graphic video), and that they have vowed to do the same "again and again", and publicly called on Palestinian women and children to shed blood for their cause.
This is also as good a place as any to remind people that Hamas chose not to build a single public bomb shelter for their civilian population, despite years of opportunity and tens of millions of dollars in aid.
Every child death, every innocent civilian Palestinian killed is a choice.

Clearly not all civilians are blameless, but the answer to your question is intimidation.
