Proof?
Thankfully it’s easy to distinguish the loons - they self identify very loudly and clearly. Unfortunately they make it hard to read threads for real info with their constant idiocy.

Maybe they can start ground Ops by thanksgiving, I guess. At this rate all international momentum will be gone by the time the get boots and tanks into Gaza.

I think we are at the point where Israel is just going to siege Gaza rather than destroy it but Hezbollah controlled areas of Lebanon are going to be bombed to frick and back.

Israel clearly doesn't want to go in, and they're getting serious international pressure to not go in.
If they get the hostages back, this crisis will die down, and things will go back to the status quo.

I think all this stuff is a punch in the gut for the “non interventionalist” crowd.
I feel rather certain there would have been a nuclear weapon used, somewhere, by now if we were not “world police”.
Iran cannot be allowed to obtain a working nuclear device. Even if they don’t use it themselves, they’ll give it to someone who will…. and there’s plenty of people who will.

Roger, these aren't wholly grassroots movements, especially in Europe. The organizations that print the fliers and promote the protests online have ties to and are directed by Hamas. Combine that with unchecked immigration of "refugees" and you have a problem brewing.

A number of these “migrants” are about to be expelled from Sweden if they can’t show income equal to 75% of the national average.
Other countries may start using similar measures in order to kick out this permanent migrant class that showed up in the past decade. Or has been lingering for quite a while in France’s case.

Germany has reversed course this week quite starkly too. They’ve publicly said they won’t take Palestinian refugees and it’s a job for neighboring countries, they’re full.
If Germany stops, the rest most likely will. They real issue is what to do with those you let in that are causing the obvious problems. This is where I think Europe really gets itself in trouble.

I think France doesn’t give a frick right now.
There has already been unrest there and Macron is using the laws on the books meant to counter the Covid protests to take on Hamas sympathizers IIRC.

Yeah the French confuse me. They’ll btfo out of anyone, but they have let them in en masse and tolerated their actions and allowed no go zones. They and Germany I find the most interesting. Everyone else will generally follow their lead I think. I’ve long thought for a while now once the Germans decided they had enough Muslims would be the new Jews and they would turn and float back to being similar to Nazi Germany against them.

Historically, France has been more likely to do something like that. Germany just went at it hardcore in the 30s and 40s.
As a professor of mine put it, if you told someone in the 1800s that one country in Europe would try to exterminate the Jews, they’d have said “Yeah, the French are assholes.”
