The major airline in Jordan, Royal Jordanian Airlines, just stated canceling flights for several people I know from different countries that we’re flying into Amman between 10/30 and 11/2.
I’ve been watching the airport traffic and flights were coming and going on time with no major cancellations. Not sure what that means for them to start canceling flights all of a sudden.
I was flying in on British Airlines, but I canceled last week. Haven’t heard from others yet of British Airlines canceling flights yet.

Peter Zeihan has interesting thoughts on China, her demographics and relationship with Taiwan but other than that, he talks fast and with confidence. As we've seen with Ukraine, he should probably stay away from making predictions regarding war.
On the subject of that video. Never underestimate the United States ability to foment war, especially in the Middle East. It's become a finely tuned craft.
We're foreign policy experts at galvanizing people in that region who would normally hate each other.

I always find it odd in situations like this that they don't have food, water, medicine, and other essentials, but they all seem to have at least two flags to wave and wrap around themselves.
I don't know about you all, but when I finally decide to organize an attack on Mississippi that takes two years of planning*, I'm gonna cut the flag budget to damn near nil and use those funds to stock up on pallets of Vienna sausages and beanie weenies.

*This is only a joke. I don't currently plan, nor have I ever planned, nor do I intend to ever plan to attack Mississippi in any way whatsoever.

You want to split hairs. Split hairs, I don’t care.
I follow Peter Zeihan and listen to his lectures on YouTube. His primary area of expertise is demographics and he bases many of his predictions on them. He's at his best when he's talking about China.
When it comes to Ukraine his basic thoughts were that we would arm Ukraine to the teeth and that armament would make the difference. Well we haven't really done that. Other than a shitload of weapons that were meant to be disposed of, Ukraine has received some stingers, a bunch of Javelins, some drones and some other things, like artillery systems.
What they haven't received from us are American jets, helicopters and tanks, the shite that really matters. They've primarily been given (by other countries) surplus Russian aircraft. As well as spare parts galore, artillery and small arms.
War isn't really in Peter Zeihan's wheelhouse. He predicted the Russian invasion but so did a thousand other "experts".
