Qassam rocket. Wiki. Homemade terror rockets.

Whatsapp channels are apparently good to follow, but a lot you need invites to join.

Yeah, I just periodically look at his feed, which seems pretty accurate.

Man, everyone has to be so on edge. We're not just talking about false Twitter reports. There were government warnings, terrorist alerts, and all kinds of stuff that accompanied this.

I hope Egypt stays out of this conflict.
Egypt hates Hamas and the Palestinians in general.
If anything, they'll support Israel.

Is there anyway this turns into a bigger war or even world war three?

Not really. Everyone is supporting Israel.

Eh.
The Iran-orbit countries are supporting Gaza.
An awful lot of other countries are attempting to demand “peace” here, which in this case means “let Hamas literally get away with murder.”

Edited to add:
Some of the best analysis from varying foreign policy perspectives is found at Foreign Affairs Magazine. I've been reading them for about 17 years. Also try Foreign Policy Magazine. I hope the thread finds these resources helpful and informative.

People keep saying that this kills it. I’m fairly certain it won’t kill it, but will put it on pause for now.
KSA can’t make this deal while Israel is whipping Hamas’ arse but Hamas isn’t one of their proxies, they are an Iran proxy and Iran is KSA’s regional rival.

Yep. Some of our stuff in Jordan will be particularly useful for this situation, whether it’s for ourselves or in general support of Israel and their operations.
Jordan can be considered an ally of Israel as well. If you don’t want to go that far, at a minimum, they are “friendly.”

If anyone is curious, below is a Twitch link for various cameras around Gaza and Israel. It's a 4 way split screen with no commentary. I haven't found anything like it on YouTube yet.
Can't see much now because it is dark but they did just have some rockets from Hamas get intercepted by the Iron Dome a minute ago.
