Gliders, drones, and a long(er) range missile attack from Hamas/Gaza. Yep....that's a coordinated attack that opens a new front.

@IntelCrab
Pretty much agree with that.

Given the scale of this infiltration event, #Hezbollah has lost its ability to claim plausible deniability. The size and scale of this attack is simply too large.
Pretty much agree with that.

This is actually the best site for breaking news on what's going on right now. Mario Nawfal on X Spaces (only verified information allowed with people throughout the region (Syria, Lebanon, Israel, Gaza, etc.))
This link should probably be moved to the OP stickied post.

Considering Hezbollah has blown the border fences and is trying to enter Israeli territory, I’m thinking in a “free fire zone” sense.

Would not surprise me to see Egypt actually join in here and start attacking the Palestinians on the Sinai peninsula and in Gaza. I also expect Jordan to crack some serious skulls to put down any problems within its own borders.
The US/UK/Greece/Italy and others will now start taking out the trash in Syria and Iran.

Definitely a hell of a coordinated attack. Ground, air, and rocket support from Gaza.

Time for the Gerald R. Ford Carrier Strike Group to get to work. We are absolutely sending planes and missiles in now as we speak.

There was talk a few weeks ago that Hamas & Hezbollah & Iran teamed up.

frick that. US soldiers should not be involved.

They met in Beirut to discuss the attack plan. I don’t think Hezbollah is even hiding this, so they aren’t going to be claiming plausible deniability.

I would prefer the US just sell Israel whatever they need.

Our ally is under assault from the north now. Are you serious?
Posted on 10/11/23 at 11:06 am to JohnnyKilroy
The role of the troops should be to sit on the boat and eat popcorn while Israel does work.
If new players try to get involved like Iran (overtly as opposed to supposedly covertly), that’s different.

Yeah, news of those meetings came out after the Hamas attack. Good grief, where was that intel prior to all of this?
Posted on 10/11/23 at 11:06 am to Stidham8
Yea I’m dead serious that US troops should stay out of harms way.
You’re free to head on a plane to israel right now if you want to defend them from their enemies.

Has the United States ever helped Israel out with overt military force?
Posted on 10/11/23 at 11:08 am to JohnnyKilroy
Israel will be just fine. If it looks like they aren’t holding on the northern front, then you start talking about assistance. Until then, absolutely not.
