Don’t be offended. This isn’t an endorsement of Iran. I’m not John Barron. But this is Iran’s 4th foreign attack in 80 years. If the current regime survives this, why in the world wouldn’t they go get nukes? Because that incur the wrath of Israel and the US?

You're kind of ignoring the fact that they were, by every conceivable way but Iranian boots directly on the ground, at war with Israel before the Jews launched their attack. They've funded every raggedy arse terrorist group in that part of the world, supplied them, outfitted them, trained them, and directed them in an ongoing war/terror campaign against Israel. They've done so without attempting to hide their efforts, and they would continue to do so from now on. Iran did not get unjustly attacked by Israel no matter how you try to spin it.

I already said I have no problem with Israel bombing Iran. I just don't approve of us getting involved in Iraq 2.0 which the Neocon Warmongers like Lindsey Graham are already calling for Regime Change and saying U.S. troops are ready to risk their lives. That is what I am against.

I didn’t say they got unjustly attacked. I said I have some sympathy for their position and their hatred of the west likewise isn’t born of nothing. Likewise, their hatred of their Sunni neighbors isn’t born of nothing either which is a big part of their militias.
Iran is a bad international actor - no question. But if this operation is successful, this will be the third time in an 85 year old Iranians lifetime a foreign power has overthrown its government. That leaves a scar on a people.
I also think Israel is making a mistake. They are starting a fight they can’t finish without the US stepping in, and depending on Donald Trump seems like a bad idea. He is . . .mercurial.
Iran getting a nuke is not good. There are no good options here. Attempting to topple Iran’s government seems like one of the worst available options, other than maybe succeeding to topple Iran’s government.

We don’t need grunts. Just bomb the ever loving frock out of their military. Make it to where they can’t afford to pursue nukes bc they are too busy rebuilding their economy and military.

We elected Trump to counter career politicians from getting us in these middle eastern wars, when our money should be reinvested in our country.
I sincerely hope Trump doesn’t cave. Iran doesn’t even have an Air Force, air defense and all of its leadership has been killed in a weekend by Israel. No need for USA involvement.

I wasn't the biggest Trump guy his first term but one thing I was 100% lockstep with him on was him keeping us out of unnecessary conflicts/wars.
Hopefully he keeps true to that here.

Haven’t forgotten and it’s missing the point. Though I believe Iran is at best 4th behind Saudi, Qatar and Russia. And if cybercrime is terrorism they probably fall behind China and maybe even North Korea. And if dumping narcotics on the world is terrorism they may not even be top 20.
But they weren’t a terrorist hotbed when they were invaded in ww2. They weren’t that when we overthrew their democratic government and re-installed a king. That one we did for shareholders of an oil company. That was a pretty, pretty big UK/US goof. Most of the time when we overthrow a government it proves to be a goof. But maybe this time it will work out.
Though I’m hoping this is just Trump setting up a grand descalation allowing him to take credit for averting nuclear war.

They were invaded by Great Britain AND Russia, with Russia occupying to Tehran. Iran was being buddies with Nazi Germany. This is the route most of the supplies for Russia from the USA took, including entire refineries.

I think we should sell the big bunker buster to Israel only to use on the enrichment plants and let them figure out to get it there using the air superiority they currently have. They don’t need a B-2 to deliver it with air superiority.

We are going to use our B-2s and bunker busters to take our Irans underground nuclear lab. Apparently the B-2s are only planes that can carry them, and we are people that can fly them. It’s already a done deal sorry guys.
If Iran wants to declare war on us because of that it’s up to them. The B-2 can carry a lot of other interesting new bombs too.
