I do have some sympathy for Iran.
2025 Israel/US attempts to overthrow their government
1980s were invaded by Iraq
1950s their democratically elected government was overthrown by the UK/US to protect UK oil interests
1941 UK invades and largely turns Iran into a colony to keep Iran resources away from Germany
I’m not saying I like the current Iranian government. But Iran has a reason to be pissed at the west. They should probably get some nukes to protect their sovereignty from being overthrown yet again.
