Between this and getting the Hamas guy while he was at an IRGC safe house, it’s pretty apparent the Israelis are all into the Iranian security services. Gotta wonder when the Iranians start turning on one another.

Sand Dust nanotechnology would appear as tiny, often irregularly shaped particles, potentially resembling dust or sand grains but on a nanoscale. Israel has been working on successfully developing this technology since the 1980s. Planes can drop these electronic devices from the sky and no one would even see them--think of it as flying a F-35 and dropping a 100 pound bag of sand in the air at 700 mph.
Smart Dust is a nanotechnology whose use in a military setting can be used for:
Surveillance and Reconnaissance: Smart Dust can be deployed to infiltrate enemy territory, providing real-time data on troop movements, infrastructure, or environmental conditions. These tiny sensors could be scattered by drones, artillery shells, or even dropped from aircraft, creating a network that monitors vast areas without being easily detected.
Environmental Manipulation: By understanding and manipulating local weather patterns or environmental conditions, like creating or intensifying sandstorms, military forces could obscure visibility, disrupt enemy operations, or cover their own movements. While this is more speculative, the concept involves using technology to trigger or enhance natural phenomena for tactical advantage.
Communication Disruption: If these dust particles could interfere with electronic signals, they might be used to disrupt enemy communications or radar systems, creating confusion or blind spots in enemy defenses.
Weaponization: Though more in the realm of science fiction, if these particles could be weaponized (e.g., carrying toxins, explosives, or being capable of self-assembly into larger structures), they could potentially be used for direct attacks. However, this application raises significant ethical and practical concerns, including the difficulty in controlling such micro-weapons once deployed.
Psychological Warfare: The mere threat or perceived presence of such technology could be used to intimidate or cause psychological stress among enemy forces, especially if there's uncertainty about its capabilities or effects.
Sabotage: If equipped with the right mechanisms, Smart Dust could theoretically be used to sabotage equipment by entering and damaging machinery or electronics through their minuscule size, though this would require overcoming significant technological hurdles like power supply, control, and navigation at such scales.

Reportedly the remaining terrorists are toting their devices 10 feet behind them on a string.

this is terrifying.
Are you connected to some type of terrorist network? You think someone is going to get to a supply of phones hoping you buy a phone that comes from that supply, add the element needed to make it blow up and sit back and wait to see if you decide to buy a phone hoping you get one that comes from their supply?

i wish you all the best of luck now that we know any portable device we own can potentially be harboring the means to kill us. MOAR ELECTRONICS

While this intelligence operation is successful, I say to the Israeli intelligence forces, "to me true success begins and ends with an overwhelming number of black people, LGBTQ, and disabled people being included among your ranks."

I mean, people can put a bomb in just about anything. So, I guess you're right.

Do you know what separates you and me from them is that we are not terrorist. I don't think we have much to worry about.

Better get rid of your vehicles, too. It is easier to plant a bomb in them than your phone.

Funny how it never seems to bother anyone, anywhere when they shoot rockets into Israel.
