I'm sure there are exceptions. I just took a look at the BLS numbers and the mean annual wage is 98k, as of 2014.

I'd be one happy mf'er if my SO made twice what I made. What kind of insecure beta would have a problem with his wife making a shite ton of money.

About the same

Far less

If my wife made double my salary, I'd quit my job, and feel like I hit the jackpot.

He is right though. Without owning your own clinic and busting your arse Vets arent going to make much more than 6 figures if at all

I was making the dough while she was in school. Then she graduated and started whipping my arse by about 20k/year (not that it really bothered me). Each year since I've narrowed the gap. Looks like this year I'll pass her. 10 years she'll be a blip in my rearview i imagine. She could change jobs if she wanted too and make a good deal more. But I don't see that happening..

I wish she made double my salary. Id give up the offshore gig and get a land job. Only seeing my son for 2 out of every 6 weeks sucks

I would feel like a freaking winner! It would be so awesome to be a stay at home dog dad! I would sleep in, hit the gym for 2-3 hours, play with the dogs, and go to the beach every day.
