We used to get caravans but now it was a slow trickle. Kinda sad but parents would rather their kids go to a public library and be flashed by a tranny than to have them trick or treat.

It’s fricking horse shite. I got ripped with some buddies though, so it was a fun night overall. Just not happy with all this candy. Maybe I’ll give it to my younger siblings.

Kids know you put out crap candy.

Nobody wants special dark minis.

Plenty of trick or treating going on these days, parents are just savvy/smart enough to hit up the neighborhoods with the highest density of candy/fun. Your neighborhood just isn't hot anymore. Mine isn't either, that's why we take the kids to my sister's neighborhood.

Lots of people in here talking shite about today's parents, but all the parents I know love halloween more than the kids.

Nah. Ran out of $75 worth of candy in 30 minutes, giving two pieces away each.

Not in my neighborhood.. it was overwhelming. I had to start rationing candy at 6:30, and was out at 7. I had never seen so many kids and parents, they were coming by in waves of 5-10 at a time. It was great!

Trick or treating in NYC is very different. We live in a decent size building so the kids can hit a lot of places pretty quickly. They had to go home and empty their pumpkins before they finished their rounds.

Probably had about 150 to 200 kids come by. They definitely still do it.

When I was living in BR I felt bad for my son bc every year it seemed as though fewer and fewer houses were participating. Most had their porch lights off, and some would take the lazy route by just leaving a bowl of candy outside the door. This is our first year living in Ascension and last night was great. There were tons of kids and nearly every house participated.

We had over 300+ kids come by our house. The streets were full with kids. I bet there was still another 200+ that didn't come by.

And you don’t even have kids. Just enjoy a good beverage from your youth occasionally, right?

Did any of y’all get any trick or treaters this year?
Every trick or treater I saw this year got the same thing:

The boys got condoms, Newcastle six packs, and a ten dollar bill.

The girls got condoms, White Claw variety packs, and a twenty spot.

I like girls better because they grow up to be women. Sue me.

Your neighborhood is growing up so fewer kids.

30 or so was already an indicator fewer children live in your neighborhood Grandpa.

We trick or treated in Westhaven and it was insane. We could hardly get around on the sidewalks.

I think the newer DSLD neighborhoods are the most active, they have the most young families in them. The neighborhood I grew up in, and the 2 garden homes next to it were empty. These 3 subdivisions are 20-40 years old, and filled with less kids than they used to be.

Just moved to TX (DFW Metroplex), and we had loads of Trick or Treaters, including our 2 grandsons (5&7). Ran out of candy at about 8:30pm. In FL (Bradenton) if we had 3 all night, we had a lot. This was the funnest Halloween we’ve had since our kids were kids.
