I built a deck and it's taken me 2 months to apply two coats of stain.

I’d rather live homeslessly in Seattle than lavishly in a shitstain.

Not sure if you live in Louisiana, but it rains a lot here. We get more rain during the summer than the rest of the country.

Idk, having a house is pretty awesome. I like it.

having a house is pretty handy. I feel bad for people who don’t have the means, but the same people who talk down on people that live like this need to look in the mirror and understand where they live and come from as well and that it isn’t necessarily ideal for others as well.

The 10 wettest cities in the country are all along the Gulf coast.

Most of the US is pretty wet during the winter. I'm in Missouri, about as far from an ocean as you can get, and moved into a newly constructed house in late October. I want to have some building materials delivered to my walkout basement, but I've been waiting for the yard (still mostly dirt) to dry first so I don't need to have it regraded and reseeded. I expect to be waiting at least until May.

I don't know how someone can live "in a shitstain", but if you're homeless, dealing with shitstains is most likely a daily occurrence.

Seattle is 1 billion times better than BR and most Southern cities.

Expensive place to live though

Yeah, I dunno about that. If you're stable enough, you can make a really nice life in most cities in this country.

Since when has living with a roof over your head not ideal for everybody?

It isn't normal rain but they get more precipitation than "mist" over the 9 months of gray. It is almost a solid light rain the entire time.
