Are treatments working? Is mortality rate going down? Some new stories is doom and gloom, while others are hopeful we are getting a hold on it.

Happen to be privy to the leadership minutes of one of the largest hospital groups in the country.

As of today we are 7-14 days out from (their words) the surge

Make of that what you will.

We are still so early. We won’t know for a couple of weeks how much self quarantining is working.

The surge is going to be an eye opener for a majority of Americans.

Not even 15,000 deaths worldwide in 6 months but of course the exponential increase only works in America and Italy

We're forecast to have temperatures in the upper 80's to 90 degrees next weekend in Baton Rouge. That means the CV-19 infections will be getting better then.

When you factor in the massive delay in proper testing I’m not sure anyone knows just yet.

This is why I’m beginning to believe more and more that the “surgers” are like climate change alarmists.

Every specific prediction has been an exaggeration but there’s always an excuse. Two weeks ago, we were told that our hospitals would be overwhelmed at this point.

To the “surgers” with inside info - give us some dates and numbers for the US, please. Restore my confidence.

It's going to get a lot worse before it gets better. You can forget about treatments making much of a difference in the near term. Barring some sort of miracle like the discovery of penicillin, it's going to take a lot of time and data to establish safety and efficacy for a treatment.
