besides who cares if older generations blame shite on younger generations, they're old and irrelevant. old people complaining about young people is insignificant. a bunch of 20-30-40 year olds blaming all their worldly problems on previous generations is corrosive to the very fabric of society. it's leads to a cancerous mindset that nothing you can do will improve your situation, so why try?
it's why some minority populations cant get ahead - white people have prevented them from success, so why try? same exact mindset. it's poison.
it's communism's bread and butter, for what that's worth.

I'm curious if Animal Farm is still required in schools anymore. I've noticed my kids haven't read Animal Farm, 1984, or a Brave New World which I think is a shame.

I have an 8 y/o grandson. Daughter was telling me that one Saturday he was on his tablet and his Dad told him to get off and do something else. He went and sat there and just sulked for 10 minutes. So his Dad took him out to the shop, handed him a bunch of tools and told him to take the engine apart on his little Murray push mower that he keeps to mow down by the creek behind the house (can’t get his zero turn back there)
He spent the rest of the day taking it apart. They actually had to make him stop when it was time for supper. We stopped in for a visit the next day and he was so proud to show me how he took the whole engine apart all by himself. I mean he even had it removed from the mower deck. SIL had removed the blade for him. There were pieces everywhere. I asked my SIL what the hell he was going to do for a mower now and he just smiled and said well now I am going to spend all day today teaching my son how to put it back together and what all the parts do and how the motor works.

Late Gen Xers and early Millennials are the worst parents in history. Late Millennials are righting the wrongs right now. Starting with normal baby names becoming popular again.
