Naw. I see commercials to lease stuff like new nissan sentras for $150.

$150 car note is definitely realistic

I take great issue with this...
$150/mo for a car payment? Did they finance a skate board?

Making minimum wage, you shouldn't have a car note.

Save your money until you can buy a cheap vehicle if you really need one (you probably don't).

Same for cable, cut that shite.

I guess they expect you to work at McDonald's and steal food.

Several of those numbers don't look realistic. I also don't see food mentioned anywhere. Gas for the car. I guess that's covered under "spending money."

If you make 24000 a year and have to have a car, it should cost under 10k and reliability is your chief concern.

I used to live on 13k s year.

My suv at the time was 2k

With a note that small, you're likely spending more than that on public transportation each month. At least in areas with shitty public transportation (ahem, Louisiana )

You sure that image isn't from 1998 instead of 2018?

For real. It looks like they filled it in with the numbers that they remembered from college 20 years ago.

After a quick google search, you can lease a 2017 Mazda3 for $159. That's the cheapest I found.

I thought public transportation was free? Maybe I'm just an out of touch OT baller

But yes you bring up a good point. When you make so little money, choosing your location and workplace are very important. Ideally you would be able to bike anywhere you need to go.

Also, does not factor in taxes of any kind, and even assuming no taxes that's working a little over 70 hours a week.

This shite makes no sense. The budget is asinine, starting with the income.

Point out one person in this country working 70 hours a week between two jobs at $7.25 for both places.

Yes, you seem very out of touch with basic real life things. Desirable areas to live that would enable you to bike wherever you need to go tend to be more expensive.

I was going to point that out as well...if you have the work ethic to have two jobs and work 70 hours per week, there is basically zero chance you make minimum wage.

You might not make much, but I don't think $10-$12 / hour is out of reach for most reasonably hard working people.

Working backwards with FICA and federal taxes is roughly 75 hours per week for 52 weeks a year.

Not a single human does that in this country.
