Yes. That was due to a Cl leak.

As a former plant operator for DOW Chemicals/ UOP , you running joke was you never died on plant property, pronounced dead at the hospital…….

Grapevine says its an N2 asphyxiation event. Not sure if thats true or not.

Westlake laid off a good bit of people in that unit not too long ago

Article says this guy only worked at West Lake for 6 months.
What does the chlorine leak in Feb 2025 have to do with this?

Another grapevine says assault... Could just be loved ones preferring something nefarious to a freak accident...but yeah. Quite a few of them have posted the news is wrong.
