My cousins uncle on their dads side is one of the last lawyers in Virginia to pass the BAR based on apprenticeship rather than attending law school.

Commonwealth of Virginia will let you take the bar after a two year attorney apprenticeship with a member of the bar sponsoring you.

California and Vermont I believe allow you to be an apprentice for a lawyer for a number of years then sit for the bar.

Being an attorney has nothing to do with what they taught us in law school...unless you were an appellate lawyer
I thought my first boss was full of it when he told me that 27 years ago.....I can't tell you how right he was.
The bar is about knowing the rules of the court system and it's all in books you can buy through Amazon. Law School is more like a racket.....Kardashian is doing it right....apprenticeship.

The patent bar exam is available to take in most states if you have some sort of engineering or science bachelors degree I believe.
