Actually, I say it weekly. When I'm ordering my favorite (the first person who say's "fav's" can kiss my entire arse) item on the menu, I definitely call it a "sammiche".
8 out of 8 staff members at this establishment have snickered profusely at this in 2019; as have countless others before them over the years. As long as it remains an effective way to effortlessly put a smile on a stranger's face I'm going to persist.
