I made the comment last night that it's funny seeing Snoop thugging it up at the halftime show and earlier in the day I saw him co-hosting the Puppy Bowl with Martha Stewart. He's all over the place and has his hands in everything, and weirdly it just works. You buy him as some wholesome dude hosting cooking shows or peddling beer just as much as you buy him as a gangsta rapper that can still drop verses. It's weird how "lovable" he's become. Good for him though, because he has to be making a killing.

I still remember his real name because of the media reports during his trouble with the law. (Involved in a drive by in the early 90’s) Calvin Broadus. This his life would have been drastically different if those charges would have led to a conviction.

Whoever took the over on this fella making it out of his 20's without getting killed is a fricking multimillionaire

You have to give credit where credit is due. He has found a niche with his brand and stayed relevant for 30 years. Hell, you can now get a Snoop On a Stoop for your kids after they figure out the Elf On a Shelf is fake.

I wish the halftime show would've just been Snoop, Dre, and Slim.

I gotta give it to him... he’s managed to make money from being a dope head and thug for many years now.

Add this to the list of things only black peoples can get away with.

So we can all agree that shooting anyone is bad right? I mean I understand why we put law enforcement on a pedestal in recent years, but most cops that I do know are cock suckers. If they were really worried about people driving drunk anywhere, they would sit outside of bar rooms with breathalyzers testing people at closing time. All they are is a local government revenue stream. They bust my balls about an inspection sticker falling off my windshield instead of worrying about real crime.

Slim’s entrance and performance were awesome. Yeah if it would have been just those three it would have been great. Kendrick Lamar sucked. Mary J seemed out of place, and 50 is now a whole dollar.

But Shaq was never a gangster rapper. Snoop went from west coast gang banger to Martha Stewart’s best friend and beloved American celebrity. It’s quite the turn around.

I hate that he only got one song. It made sense lyric-wise for him to sinf Lose Yourself, but there's a ton of other songs I would have rather heard him sing.

Quite a feat for someone with minimal to average talent but the biz is full of that, best thing I’ve seen him do was “Honey Bear.”

Didn't he have a rap song pissing on Kobe (long before Kobe died)?

I once read that Snoop beat the main story and is doing all of the side quests now.
